Plans for a new trail connection along Parma’s West Creek Greenway are moving forward. The upcoming shared-use path along South Park Boulevard will expand access to the Greenway, linking neighborhoods to the West Creek Reservation and strengthening connections to existing and future trail networks across Northeast Ohio.
West Creek Conservancy is working in partnership with the City of Parma, Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio Public Works Commission, Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency, and Ohio Department of Natural Resources to help advance this long-term vision. By leveraging funding and coordinating resources, the project reflects a collaborative approach to building trails that support recreation, connectivity, and community access to nature.
This expansion is part of a broader, phased effort to complete the West Creek Greenway one piece at a time while navigating the realities of land availability and funding. Each new segment brings us closer to a continuous trail system that benefits residents today and for generations to come. Read the full story here.
