A Positive Impact on Communities
West Creek is a regional land trust and watershed group that has been serving Northeast Ohio since 1997. Our mission is to preserve and protect our natural areas and connect people to them.
Through land and easement acquisition we are perpetually protecting streams, wetlands, forests, farms and other greenspaces – an immediate impact for all of us now, and a generational impact that will be our legacy.
If recent events have taught us anything, it’s the importance of relationships that further connect us with our community. Thriving communities are the foundation of Northeast Ohio, and together we can create new opportunities to connect with nature, preserve greenspace and ensure our communities are thriving.

Supporting Your Sustainability Initiatives
Because of the generous support that we have received within the community and region, we have protected thousands of acres, restored miles of waterways, and created significant trails and greenways. We fill a unique role with our partners and stakeholders and a versatility that is cost-effective and highly accountable. We are extremely proud to say that for every $1.00 leveraged, 96 cents goes directly into such conservation initiatives.

Volunteer with West Creek
Making sure that our local natural areas, open spaces, streams, and waterways are well protected is more important than ever. When you volunteer with us, you will get the opportunity to directly contribute to making sure these places will exist for decades to come. Our opportunities range from stream cleanings, community plantings, and more.
Corporate Matching Programs
Matching Gifts can increase the impact of your donation. Many employers offer matching gift programs that can double or even triple contributions made to an eligible nonprofit organization by their employees, retirees or spouse. West Creek hosts an exciting array of hikes, meetings, and other events throughout the year. Our annual Up! A Creek Conservation Gala is attended by over 500 local supporters. There are numerous opportunities to support these events and we invite you to join us in furthering our mission.
