Tulip Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera), also called Tuliptree, is the tallest tree of eastern forests and has the straightest trunks. Despite the name, it is a member of the mangolia family. Tulip Poplars have large tulip-shaped flowers that are a beautiful mix of yellow, green, and orange colors.
