Garrett Ormiston

I have always considered myself to be a lifelong student of nature, with a particular interest in plants and the ecosystems of which plants are a component. I have relished the opportunity to be involved in conservation work both on a local watershed scale through my past role as vice-chair of the board of Big Creek Connects, and throughout Northeast Ohio, through my role as the Manager of Preserve Operations at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. My work in the Museum’s Division of Science & Conservation has given me the privilege to work on numerous land conservation projects over the years, and to help steer habitat management efforts on the Museum’s preserves. I am thrilled to serve on the board of West Creek Conservancy, and I look forward to contributing in any way that I can to the organization’s mission.
