Danielle Dejak

Danielle Dejak joined West Creek Conservancy in May 2025 as a Seasonal Natural Resource and Outreach Assistant and moved into the role of Stewardship and Outreach Coordinator in December 2025. She brings a strong background in ecological stewardship, community education, and plant care — supported by a bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Plant Biology from Ohio University.

In her role, Danielle manages native plant nursery operations at Creekside Collaborative Partners, including propagation and plant health monitoring. She coordinates volunteer events that support nursery tasks, habitat restoration projects, and green infrastructure maintenance. Danielle also helps lead West Creek’s Native Seed Library program and contributes to the development of public-facing educational materials and workshops.

Danielle has always loved exploring the outdoors, which sparked her passion for protecting natural spaces. Outside of work, she enjoys backpacking, climbing, biking, gardening, and making ceramics.
