David Saja

David Saja is the GIS & Stormwater Specialist at West Creek Conservancy. David joined West Creek in 2022 as the Senior Watershed Projects Manager. He earned his Ph.D. in Geology at the University of Pennsylvania, and he brings to the team a background in stream morphology and sediment composition and transport. A Certified Watershed Steward for the Cleveland Metroparks, David is also adjunct faculty at Case Western Reserve University.

David promotes the importance of stormwater management and clean waterways. He collaboratively works with public and private partners to manage West Creek Conservancy’s regional watershed program services in Northeast Ohio. David’s responsibilities include implementing green infrastructure projects, providing GIS services for watershed projects, stewarding stormwater management projects, and developing and maintaining Nonpoint Source Implementation Strategies (NPS-IS).
