We live near the West Creek valley. Our children and our grandchildren, as they grew up, loved going to ‘our creek’ to enjoy the woods, collect fossils, wade in the creek, discover little critters under the rocks, and learn to love all of the wonders nature has to offer. It was an important part of their childhood, and provided many opportunities for teaching and learning, and sheer enjoyment. I believe that all children should have the opportunity for nature experiences, and I am passionate about furthering our mission of enriching the lives of all children in Greater Cleveland by conserving and restoring nature in their neighborhoods.
Professionally, the health of the environment was my vocation, and now my volunteer work with West Creek Conservancy continues it as a conviction.
